In 1992, UNA Poggio dei Medici opened a par 72, championship golf course designed by Italian architect Alvise Rossi Fiorvanti and by professional Baldavino Dassu. Set amidst the Tuscan hills, Appenine Mountains and olive orchards, The championship layout is sufficiently challenging and playable for all levels of golfers. From 1999 to 2003, the acclaimed facility hosted the Ladies Italian Open and is a must play for the numerous professional golfers who travel to Italy.

Additional rounds are scheduled at Montecatini , Le Pavoniere and Ugolino Golf Club. Montecatini Golf Club is a highly special par 72 venue that was created by its Italian architect, Croze, to blend into the splendid landscape and to take advantage of the natural obstacles such as the old stone walls, the brooks, the olive trees and the Tuscan hills. Ugolino Golf Club, opened in 1933 and designed by the English architects Blanford and Gannon, is the oldest golf course in Italy. Located in the picturesque Chianti region, Ugolino has hosted several professional tournaments over many years. Le Pavoniere, designed as a championship par 72 layout by Arnold Palmer, is one of the finest and most competitive golf courses in Europe.

Pool

The 70 x 36 foot pool and the Jacuzzi with waterfalls pool have filtered salt water.
Hotel guests have free access to the pools, with bathing towels available at the pool deck, and provision of sun beds and umbrellas.
